Classes can choose one of four ways to present information about Europe to another class in the school or to parents and the community:
- Storytelling or drama
- Digital storytelling or oral presentation (e.g., using Photostory or Powerpoint)
- Inventing a game or website that teaches something about Europe
- Composing a new song, chant or rap that tells something about Europe.
Classes register their interest by March 31st 2010 and during the showcasing period in April record or describe to us what they have done.
Projects are welcome in English or Irish.
All participating schools will be invited to an awards ceremony in Dublin in May 2010.
A special professional development event for teachers will take place in Dublin on Saturday, 13 February 2010 from 10.30am-1.00pm.
All participating teachers are invited to attend.
